Cason Noll, John Campbell, and Sarah Stupenheim's policy pitch tackles the gap between Nevada's AI-driven economy and its underperforming education system in Las Vegas. The proposal establishes a mandatory AI literacy curriculum (AIL I, II, and III) through the Nevada Department of Education, funded under the Career-Technical Education program, alongside a Department of Education AI Advisory Committee guided by Nevada's SB199. The goal is to equip students with foundational AI knowledge, ethics, and bias-awareness while ensuring equitable access, data privacy protections, and improved educational outcomes across the state.
